You CAN Learn French!
By
Claude Fullinfaw

Ever thought you might like to try your hand at learning a new language? Why not take a chance, and learn French? French is a beautiful language and, although considered by some to be one of the hardest to learn, learning French can be easy if you know where to look for help. Even if you’ve never tried to learn a new language before, it is still possible to learn French.

With so many new sources on the internet, French, or any other language for that matter, can be learned by anyone regardless of age or education.

Online Classrooms The inception of the online classroom has made it easier than ever for someone to learn French. Online classrooms offer a structured learning plan for anyone who wants to learn a new language. Just as in a traditional classroom setting, you will have classes with lectures, written work, and testing. The biggest drawback to trying to learn French in an online classroom, is the price. Many online classrooms offer college credits to anyone who passes the course; so, therefore, they charge accordingly. Classes can range anywhere from $50 to $250 per term.

Tutors

A tutor is a great tool if you want to learn French, but don’t need to have a structured classroom setting. If you work well on your own, a tutor can come in very handy when you get stuck, or you need help with pronunciation, or verb conjugation. It’s not a great idea to use a tutor for the entire process of learning a new language, if you think you may not be able to do the majority of the work on your own. Tutors can become rather expensive, often charging more than fifty dollars an hour. But a tutor is a great way to get help when you need it if you want to learn French.

Language Groups Another great way to learn French is to join a language group. Language groups are most usually free to join, and are a great way to make new friends as well as learn a new language. Language groups meet and help each other with everything from the verbal nuances of a language, to learning to read a new language. If you like the idea of making new friends, and you want to learn French, a language group is the number one way to go! There you have it. The top three ways to learn French.

Regardless of whether you already have an understanding of the language, or you’re just now starting to learn, learning French is an amazing way to expand your knowledge. Get together with a local language group, and start to learn French today!
